Out of state medical marijuana a problem for Texas

CORPUS CHRISTI (Texas) -An influx of medical marijuana from states where it's been legalized is growing to be a major problem for the CCPD. Captain John Houston with the Narcotics/ Vice Division says, "In some cases they came right from manufactures of prescription pharmacies out in California and Colorado, right from the company, or the label said that."

Just this week, the CCPD says they made three drug busts involving marijuana from other states.

They say they started seeing these packages with prescription labels last fall; that people drive or ship them here.

The biggest bust this week, four pounds of medical marijuana worth some $90,000 on the streets of Corpus Christi because of it's high, prescription grade quality.

[Thanks Chris!]

Not to mention that a quick look at that bag makes it apparent that Texas high-grade is actual unsellable low-grade, which is why it ended up in there.

22,500 a pound IS hilarious. The kinds of things cops say these days...

And, I really feel for the overworked narcotics officers of Corpus Christi. That medical mj is a BIG problem--why, anyone in their innocent, drug free city could suddenly become addicted to it! Drug addicts from New Mexico are flooding over the border into the Great State of Texas with this killer weed, and there are just not enough officers to put a stop to it.

Oh, what to do? Oh, the humanity!

Holy. shit. not one of 7 billion people on this planet are dumb enough nor have enough money to spend $22,500 on a pound of "prescription grade quality" grass. Hilarious.
