'Square Grouper' Pot Doc Picked up for Distribution

"Square Grouper: The Godfathers of Ganja," a documentary about marijuana smuggling in South Florida in the '70s, was just picked up for distribution by Magnolia Pictures, prior to its world premiere at SXSW next month. This is pretty big news, considering how gun shy U.S. distributors have been regarding drug-related documentaries in the past. Hopefully, this is a sign of European and Canadian influence, based on interest in the subject outside the U.S.
