National Geographic Taboo: Drugs
NGC explores drug cultures around the world where people use drugs to enter an "altered state" -- sometimes with dangerous consequences. We visit a village in Venezuela where shamans use drugs to contact the spirit world, a festival in Nepal where hashish is temporarily legalized and a club scene in Amsterdam where drugs have become a focus of both recreational indulgence and scientific inquiry.

Let me rephrase my self: It's ok to get high just to get high, to relax, to chill or for any other personal reason. But what i am implying is that if you do that on regular basis, like everyday, it certanly leads to addiction, and everyone will see you as a addict, whathever the substance it may be. And thats why society and media will have negative view. I would personaly decriminalize all drugs. I smoke marijuana for 10 years now, but like 4-5 times a month, some of my friends also smoke mj for 10 years, everyday. They are addicts, the fact is that they can't live without their dalily dosage, and i talked with them about that. And yes they admit they are addicted. And i don't judge them because they are addicted, but other people, larger group of people who don't use drugs, society, will judge them and look negative. And there is certainly distinction of drug use and drug abuse. And most people abuse drugs, there are destructive and constructive patterns even if you don't wanna see it. Thats my point.
