Local news for me: today the Wisconsin State Patrol tried to stop an 18-wheeler which seemed to be driving erratically:
The driver sped up and continued on Highway 16, according to authorities.
The State Patrol said the truck was stopped with tire spikes after nearly 30 minutes, and the driver then refused to get out of the truck for more than an hour before emerging with a package.
State Patrol Sgt. Jeramy Foster said officials shot the driver with non-lethal rounds. He is being evaluated at a hospital...
Mlsna said the company says the truck is supposed to be filled with energy drinks.
Supposed to be filled with energy drinks? Does that mean they're missing? The driver drank them all, then flipped out? Even more amusing, the bomb squad was called after a bomb-sniffing dog alerted to something in the truck. Maybe bomb dogs like energy drinks, though. Or maybe it was shipping
the Czech energy drink "Semtex", which is named after a
brand of plastic explosive long popular with terrorists.
Also the article never says who "Mlsna" is, but it sounds like a Czech name to me...
