Schroeder does Beethoven

I've been spending some time in a large cathedral, and chewing on the idea of learning piano, which together, makes me think of Beethoven. That, and a recent reminder of how psychedelic the Charlie Brown cartoons could be, made me think I should share this old favorite with you crazy kids.

aCTUALLY, jAMESk... CHECK BILLY JOEL'S ALBUM NOTES FROM "An Innocent Man"... the song, "this Night", lists Billy joel and LVB as co authors...

therefore is it not, "stolen"...

does KISS properly attribute their use of this song???

=]

Well jamesk, since you brought it up first, I've got the courage to out myself as recognizing the opening as a Kiss ballad. The song is I think called "Great Expectations" and is on the Destroyer album(Kiss's Sgt. Pepper, lol).

But now I realize that Billy Joel stole this refrain for "This Night Will Last Forever", and I can hear a motif from a Kiss ballad in the ascending part in the opening, but can't place it. The piece still holds its popular flavor after all these years.
