CNN on 'chronic'

The last few weeks have seen a targeted media campaign to scare people away from new high-potent pot. By request, here is a link to the video story at CNN.

And for those of you who don't want to go to CNN to see the stupid video, here is a different stupid video on marijuana that is at least more fun...

They're zombies. That's why they're always covered in make-up too. They lust after the notion of having a brain between them, but when they get a brain they know not what to do with it, and end up just kicking it about and eating it. Then they become zombies with CJD.

They use the argument that because it's smoke, it's all carcinogenic to assume that all 400+ chemicals in Marijuana (all cannabinoids) are carcinogens but even the idea that it's more carcinogenic is misleading, because it happens to prevent cancerous mutations in cells exposed to carcinogenic smoke (like nicotine) when the two are smoked simultaneously. They're more full of shit than even you think... its sad

Good old corporate media. Couldn't control the populace without them.

Thanks James. It would have been a shame to miss out on that.

Well whaddya expect from droogs - they just want to wreck things, and take loads of speed. Mixed with milk. While wearing codpieces and trying to make up their razoodoks - which is fairly hard when you're on too much speed and your thoughts keep tripping over one another. And then someone comes in and says, 'monkeys it's time for you to do a fake story on drugs', and the CNN staff all scream and beat themselves on the head, throw papers around, so the someone says 'now monkeys, no more powder if you don't do the lies for us'.

And that's exactly how it happens.

If you watch that CNN video, you'll notice that while teenage marijuana use has increased 400 odd percent, emergency room visits for pot use have risen only 160 percent or so. While those CNN droogs use these rises as evidence that marijuana is more potent and dangerous these days, what it actually means is that proportionally fewer people are going to the hospital for pot related stuff. Damn incompetent droogs.

Other critiques include: More potent pot means less carcinogenic material need be inhaled. Also, while pot may be more carcinogenic than tobacco, who smokes a pack of joints a day?
