Just found this web comic called Overcompensating that mentions DMT elves. Haven't looked into it much yet but seems promising!

Overcompensating is a very druggy comic. Basically, there is a stoner character named Weedmaster P (the blonde one) who at some point gets a pet self-transforming machine elf. It has tiny pointy teeth and makes horrifying sounds.
