Psychedelic documentary to air on 4/20

From Amazon jungles to the American Plains, British mental wards, Swiss labs, New York mansions and Grateful Dead shows, the history of hallucinogenic drugs is as fantastic as the visions the drugs produce. Wade Davis, is a modern-day anthropologist, author ("The Serpent and the Rainbow") and protege of one of psychedelia's most intrepid forefathers -- Richard Evans Schultes. Davis traces Schultes' life's work as one of the greatest botanist-explorers of the 20th century and reveals an illustrated history of the world's most mind-altering plants and substances in: PEYOTE TO LSD: A PSYCHEDELIC ODYSSEY, premiering Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The History Channel

never tried dmt...i prefer lsd over mushrooms any day though. longer trip, cooler closed eye visuals, better auditory effects...it's not like the end all be all, but to me mushrooms seem like the "default" trip. acid has a mind of its own. never tried mescaline either though, but i did drop 2c-e once. that was interesting.

LSd isn't all that. LSD isn't DMT and DMT isn't LSD, thank God. Peyote is nothing special, in my opinion. Too often people have the attitude that LSD is the end all be all. That irks me. Time will show that it's not all that. One day people will look back and think "wtf?" , or words to that effect. New Age hippy b.s. That and why does the white man always seem to have this obsession with mescaline/peyote? Boring, if you ask me.
