A prisoner of war brainwashed by his vicious captors is one day released and runs for the highest office in the land. Is this fact or fiction? You've all heard about the Manchurian Candidate from the movies, but could this scenario be for real? I would tell you McCain's trigger word, but you don't want to see him when he goes postal.
Senator John McCain was tortured and brainwashed by the communists for over 5 years. Regardless of what you may have been told, or what you may believe, no one, not anyone on this earth can withstand torture and brainwashing without breaking down, giving up information, and permanent damage to the mind... usually to traditional belief systems and thought processes in the areas of religion, philosophy, and politics.
I was watching Why We Fight last night, and McCain was actually speaking out against the military-industrial complex; if anyone's unaware of the documentary, it's about what Eisenhower warned would/could happen to the USA, in his farewell address.
Very recommended. (I got it on rental from Blockbuster here)
Check out what makes up the system warned about: Pentagon contracts and the industries vying for them, the think tanks, and CONGRESS.
Another important quote from it reminded what George Washington said, that to have a standing army at all was going the wrong way and would lead to ruin.
You can already see those responsible for it all beginning to jump ship and head off to do exactly the same thing (business contracting in the war industry) for the next superpower (eg - China) - hence why they're so interested in securing the Mid East justnow.
