Deadly Nuts: If peanuts were portrayed like E

"E kills roughly 3-9 Americans a year. Peanuts kill roughly 50-100 Americans a year."

Damn straight.

I have been in workplaces and schools where people were so freaked by peanut allergies that they were officially "peanut free zones". Can you image the dirty looks you'd get whipping out a PB&J? That's a deadly weapon in some places...

I used to think it was the acid, but now I've come to accept that a life of heavy peanut eating has made me crazy!

has E been portrayed negatively? Maybe 10-15 years ago, but now everyone knows it's all the rage.
Now peanuts need a fresh surge in acceptance. Being a peanut head myself I'll be the first to defend it's status.
The thing is way way more people die from E than get listed because it is just ruled as either a basic drug overdose, or heart failure, or stroke, or maybe suicide, or drug combination. The doctors don't really bother to see what exact drug killed the person unless that information had already been provided. I'd imagine street E actually contributes to more than 100 American deaths a year easily. Peanuts deaths are easy to diagnose from the onset because usually the person is known to be allergic, peanuts were accidentally involved, and the symptoms reveal the root cause. So it's easy to tab up deaths caused by peanuts, but much harder to tally up deaths caused by drugs in general.

We need to have peanut eater permits.
