Drug filled gumballs hit Florida

Following the "Drugs as Candy" trend, we get a news item out of Florida that has officials on the lookout:

The candy-flavored drugs, particularly methamphetamines, heroin and marijuana are circulating around the United States, often enticing younger children, officials said.

...

Flavors can include strawberry, chocolate, cola and others.

Cola flavored drugs? How delightful!

Also, reports of gumballs filled with marijuana and narcotics packaged or disguised as candy or other more enticing objects have raised concern from Florida law enforcement.

Drug laced gumballs? Now there's an idea that has legs...

Anybody wanna tell me what "other more enticing objects" means? Are they also disguising these drugs as...more powerful drugs?

I had a dream once where acid was in the form of gum balls, and much like a tab they all had a trippy ass design on them. I tripped 'balls' hahaha.. heh

Why would someone hid weed in a gumball? This makes no sense. Meth gumball on the other hand, that could be a best seller...

I definitely doubt if it's targeted at children. Pretty much like the LSD fake tattoo scare...

I knew by the headline that they would bring up the whole "drug dealers are targeting our children" thing. Kids don't want meth and heroin, nor can they afford it. These gumballs are not being sold for 25 cents and probably aren't even sold to the consumer. Drug dealers don't target kids because kids don't have any money.
The gumballs are just being used to hide the drugs for trafficking.
Also, it doesn't make too much sense to put weed in gumballs.
