Wow, this is pretty much exactly what happens to me when I watch the news! I get distracted, and before you know it I'm having a "flashback". You know how essentially we've ruined our minds and bodies with substance abuse, and now we're nothing but a pack of unmotivated, unintelligent, social delinquents? Yeah, that thing! It's seems that obviously I've messed up my chances of being a successful, happy human, since throughout my life I haven't followed these "Gold Standard" values that are so clearly only suggested, and enforced (with violence, billions of dollars of tax and "invisible" money, propaganda/politic and, dare I say it, ignorance) to protect the vulnerable, unenlightened masses. They told me it would happen, they said "Sean, if you touch that stuff someday you're going to be a burnout trapped in a world of flashbacks and fantasy" and lo and behold, they were so right. What on Earth would we do without this great and logical attitude engendering machine that is fighting to protect us, to keep us from plumbing the depths of mystery residing within our very being? What would we do without someone to save us from these scary, life-threatening Toads? I'm so glad I don't live in one of those countries where people are faced with crazy problems like "thinking for themselves", "making their own decisions" or "taking personal responsibility". You know, in backwards places like that, I've heard that McDonald's penetration is even less that 100%. Some people really do suffer in this life. Thank the Lord I live in a land of such voracious litigiousness that personal responsibility is as much of an archaic idea as Matriarchy, or even better, Co-Operation. I'd be having nightmares of being chased by relentless Toads for the next few nights if I didn't have the security of knowing that I'm protected by a Government that is simply not going to let anything bad happen to me, whatsoever. Really brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it?
