So I was going to blog about this Grateful Dead symposium at U Mass this weekend, but I was searching their exhibits and found myself back at the site of one of my favorite psychedelic artists, Mike DuBois, who will have a gallery showing at the event. And so I decided to include one of his pictures here instead, because I love it.

Off topic: I just read (in a Polish source) that a young man from Missouri was arrested for trying to lick a toad. The toad is being held in police laboratories as proof.
Maybe you'll try finding something about this story? Yes, it's banal, but still quite disturbing for me. At least I was "taught" that drug posession is illegal just because otherwise dealers could only carry small amounts and later claim it was for personal consumption. But now it (for the 100000th time, of course) it turns out that it's simply certain mental states which are forbidden.
Quoting a Dutch author: how comes the government has the AUDACITY to claim they can control your mind?
