Doors vs PRO7: Hello I Love You (Remix)

The Doors are a band that generally get no love from the modern psychedelic community because they are widely considered shallow pop tosh for the lowbrow hippie. However, new remix jams shed some light on how well their shallow pop jams translate to today's dance sound. Get this track while it is still available.

Shallow pop?? Lyrics, maybe. Jim, no.
no wonder there's no scene then. : 2008-07-12 12:44:42
Who told you that? There's no-one can claim to be any kind of psychedelic community that would think that way about a band like The Doors. Kids today, what a bunch of fannies. I wouldn't have dreamed of claiming to be any kind of Head without learning my psychedelic 60s USA culture inside-out - and appreciating it. They're kidding themselves on if they think they can steal some cultural name or banner and apply it to themselves if they'd drop The Doors. No roots, no spirit, no drive to even grasp what a better world is, and lost they are without their electronic gadgets.

I'll have to check it out, but I can't wait to tell a funny story. ;)
At primary school (towards the end - I was about 13-14 years old then) we had a little radio set so that we could play music during the breaks. I used to bring a Doors cassette to school so that we could listen to it. Once other girls bought some teen music magazine and there was an article where a disco-pop duo was showing (on photos) how to dance to their hit. So the girls started practising this dance exactly with "Hello, I Love You". Curious combination...
