How much for that horse in the window?

Slate's Explainer column has a short piece on how law enforecement arrives at estimates of the value of seized drugs. There are some nice tidbits in the article itself - for example, it turns out that drugs are cheaper and higher quality in urban areas. Is that why you can't keep 'em on the farm after they've seen Paris?

But if you want large quantities of high grade info on the price of drugs high grade and low in quantities large and small, then check out this ONDCP report. It's 4 years old now, but goes back to 1981.
