don't fall for the hype scotto.. it's not desomorphine that makes their skin fall off it's the contams they are shooting.. i've tried about 20 other kinds and nothin compares. i have to smoke a blunt to my self of any other kind, includin spice, but i only have to hit the 7h 2-3 times before i'm higher than i can even get off of any other kind. also as far as bad trips and shit, i've noticed in my experiences its all a bunch of paranoid people who trip in the first place. the only bad experience i ever had was when i ate to much and puked once lol. you really can't tell when ur not hungry anymore on some of this shit and it will make it where u won't want to stop eating, so be careful about that.

randal's a great guy and i hope he gets the attention he deserves for his beautiful images. homer seems to have struck a nerve as everyone has been hugely appreciative of this design. i've been psyched to print and perforate it for him.

Seems to me there are quite a few little kiddos on here fibbing so people on the internet think they're cool... That being said, Ive smoked two different kinds here in Dallas, Defiant and 42 degreez. Been smoking them both on an almost constant basis for a few months now, and only had a minor issue the first time smoking it. Minor compared to the scare that the media has been hyping up about it at least... Smoked a large bowl of 42 degrees Black Label in an equally large bong (tastes like strange coconut) with my wife. Halfway thru, she starts acting off and out of nowhere projectile vomits all the way to our bathroom. Been smoking other 42 degrees for a couple months now and I havent noticed any detrimental health effects. We still exercise and breathe just as well as we ever have (wife is asthmatic btw)

I haven't read the results in the Journal of Psychopharmacology, but based on the graph in this article:
[link] , we can assume that a "proper" dose is 20 mg of pure psilocybin.

According to Erowid, Psilocybe cubensis contain 4-12 mg per gram of mushroom (dried?) , so depending on safe you want to play it, you'd eat between 5 grams of mushrooms (risking a 60 mg dose) or ~2 grams (risking a weak 8 mg dose). Assuming an average strength of 8 mg per gram, you'd take 2.5 grams of mushrooms to hit a "proper" dose.

Then again, some psychonauts prefer the high-level dose, blasting them to other dimensions. This study seems to indicate that that is unnecessary for positive effects (and in some case, detrimental?). Not to judge anybody. :)

I'm not sure how serious you are about taking shrooms, shyguy, or what your experience is, but I'd encourage anyone taking them for the first time to play it safe by doing it with someone truly trustworthy and experienced, or, at least, by understanding what we mean by "set and setting". The study protocols that help limit anxiety might be a place to start, or check out entheoguide.net. Maybe there are better resources, I'm not sure.

Dude, Hands down. "Down To Earth" IS the best Incense to buy. Superkush <- gets you really happy though. I only buy legal for trips anyways. The first time I smoked, I smoked down to earth. I thought I was going to die because i've never smoked and my heart was beating quick. But about 20 minutes later I chilled the fuck out and enjoyed my trip. Now I smoke it with friends in the woods or something, and we get lost. It's actually kind of fun haha.
