" And if you ARE parents, good luck to your children if they watch this garbage."

To use a shamelessly hipster phrase, it's culture jamming. (Many) people like to see such references in mainstream media because it represents a potential softening of the insane attitude our culture has to certain consciousness-altering things.

Just because you find such references appealing on some level doesn't mean that you want your kids to grow up into some kind of drug abuser. At least I'm a parent and I don't.

Drugs have always affected culture's unfolding, and if you'd like to deal with that fact by just ignoring it, good luck to YOUR kids!

I smoked it a few times and really like it..... Its better than weed and doesn't make you tired.... Its pretty intense and I think it affects everyone differently because I have never hallucinated on it..... Its pretty good though

Great stuff? Good find?! This show is CRAP! How old are you people? Once you become parents, you'll find all this drug reference just isn't funny. And if you ARE parents, good luck to your children if they watch this garbage.

Im sorry to promptly tell you that although the video is good it's crummy musically. My opinion is shaped by that it's frankly not hardcore enough.

ugh excuse my re-visioning these errors, PILLIAM is a 420chan.org username.

D-amp vs M-amp is 1:3 on potency, but the cathinone derivatives vs mdpv is like 5ish:1, but im not going to research the rcs to make this a more sound figure, and its not even like its a fair comparison on 1 drug to another.
I think there is possibly some confusion, also between European companies working with bath salt marketers stateside. EU amphetamine "base" there is like 95%ish cut heavier with vitamin c, and which may or not effect psycho-pharmacology, while M-amp is more common so there maybe confusion on equitable weight differences.

@avicenna - It is provocative to assume that purpose of our actions are to serve consciousness, when in most cases our actions are restricted and confined to serve society. Everything we do alters consciousness, but assuming that this is the purpose of everything we do is like saying, "The purpose of everything we do is to move atoms around in a vacuum," or "The purpose of everything we do is to have sex and make new generations of humans." Purpose is never objective or absolute, it is a relative opinion. There can be a million purposes and none of them absolute truth.

From Post: Choosing your cognitive fate
@jamesk - I think you dismiss this idea too quickly. I think most of the things we are wired to do are mediated through consciousness. Thus, altering consciousness is the proximate cause. In other words, we eat not in order to live, but to reduce our hunger or to satisfy a craving. And the appetite suppression of, say, amphetamines makes this clear. They don't change (or even increase) your need for nutrients, but they make you feel not hungry and you eat less.

I also think Harris is a bit too glib with his argument that drug experiences as "expressions of the brain's potential" mean that drug states must necessarily be achievable without chemical assistance. Exogenous chemicals may have a higher binding affinity, less specificity or more specificity, or other differences compared to their endogenous analogs that could well make it possible to achieve brain states that the brain would never achieve on its own.

It's kind of like saying that a culture without writing can do anything that a culture with writing can do, because both cultures have spoken language, and you can only write things that you can say.

Too bad the only solution discussed is a ban. No one wants to snort themselves into psychosis... put some warning labels and instructions on the stuff, or legalize safer stimulants to undercut the market.

I once read of some one on 420 getting a bunch of uncut mdpv** at a non rip off price and snorting 10 doses of it at once thinkig it was another much less efficient drug. I think that's some what the picture of the what the marketplace got ppl into.

I've never had a bathsalt myself* so I'm not sure if what it is. It maybe sound trip or not exempt from delusions of a pro-noiac grandeur.

* a couple years before I did become a crazy amphetamine and even piparizine enthusiast AND LOVED I MEAN LOVE to take long baths of Epsom salt during the tweaks, so I find this.

**for noobies, mdpv is potent of course by a figure of 10 then some other drugs passed off as bathsalts, and like methamphetamines which is equally potent compared to amphetamine, overdoses and subsequent recoding of binges land people in bad places.
