From Post: Texas teen's overdose on Klimax potpourri goes national
I smoked some right before typing this message, and yes, I am pretty high, but... If you notice I am still competent enough to be writing a review on the drug. As were all of the others who's review stated that they were high on the drug. Klimax, in my opinion, is most likely a dissociative. In large doses it certainly feels like one to me, and based off others "trip" reports, the disassociating effect is common. In lower doses it is comparable to a pot high. The effect is mote psychadelic than THC but far less than many other chemicals like salvinorin A or DMT. There have been cases of people who have experienced health issues from smoking these synthetic canibinoids, but the psychological effects have been dramatically overstated here. DMT is FAR more entheogenic and nicotine is way more addictive. If you smoke it then smoke it, if you don't then don't. The BS "It permanently altered my mind" is just that, BS. Unless perhaps it physically damaged your brain, or you already had some underlying mental condition which was exacerbated. Just like traditional hallucinogens, if you overdo it, you may "freak out", but unless you've physically harmed yourself (or possibly someone else), you are unlikely to suffer long term psychological effects. Some people just can't handle a dramatic perceptual change hitting them so quickly, and afterwards suffer emotional disonance. My advice to them is: Relax, you'll get over it.

From Post: Why pot makes you paranoid
BS when you see the truth you should speak it and the brainwashed society that is from a education System and tv Programming makes the masses stupid and fear of freedom. 911 makes most people paranoid and fear every day life. But it was staged and planned to fear the masses to control weak stupid people and that's where the education system comes in All fake info when you research and have real knowledge! It's not paranoia when you can see the lies and murder for profits right in front of your eyes. In a real free country and not this Commi one the USA ( divided not united) paranoia would not exist. My only fear would be being arrested for being free. Many medical uses, fake Dr.'s fake govt, fake patriotism. Fake FREEDOM !

I guess I need to seek out the background on leonard pickard et al... I must have retained only part of the story in that vice video. Maybe their story was skewed, but the inhumane treatment Krystal Cole proportedly received at the silo left me assuming all involved were low life sleaze bags. Casey's obvious regard for leonard indicates I had things all (or partly) wrong.
Would love to hear more of Casey's story, as he sounds like he's up for that. Would also love to hear how a conversation tetwixt you guys and robin carhart-(blanking on 2nd part of last name) might go. I'm curious about points of agreement and areas of difference between his models and James's. I do keep in mind re- carhart-(?)'s ideas: another way to think of entropy is as a measure of information density...
Anywho: thanks for great show. I'm gonna steal your guests excellent sign out: "fait lux"

Hello All!

I really enjoyed this interview; and, there is so much more to discuss: from the chemistry of the psychedelic experience to the psychedelic chemical experience of falling in love and getting married in prison.

And, thus it should be heard that I am extremely grateful for all the emotional, mental and physical support of those people who kept me in mind and served me: those who sent me books, legal documents, stamps, clothing, trinkets and firewater, etc. Without their support, I may have shriveled!

Awesome this happened, having recently come into contact with the 'blunt end of the state' myself it would be great if you could follow this up with another one or two with Casey at some point exploring how his own attempts to unreason with the reasonable differed/s from Leonard Pickard's, what the continued imposition of control forces and the subsequent attempts by those imposed on to free ourselves from those high on power adds to the contributions of people such as John Stuart Mill, how such things as the medicinal cannabis movement in the US, Uruguay's weed project and Portugal's approach to substance policy may lead to further changes in the substance control legislation and enforcement around the world and of course delving deeper into cognitive liberty - so much to discuss with someone who has so much to offer on these and other topics.

Thanks again

The original sacred trinity was:
The Father, the MOTHER, and the Divine Child (see Andrew Harvey's work). Makes (biological) sense, right? It was the men who changed the original teachings for the eventual campaign of male domination and the suppression of the feminine principle.

This shit is just that,,shit!!! My friend is unfortunately now at RI Hospital and has limited use of his left arm. Never has anything like this happened in his 30 or so yrs of useing. Which I have to say and have said to him..IS STUPID> Nothing wrong with smokin a little weed people. But this stuff is NOT natural. And NOT safe. If you wanna hallucinate take mescline or acid.( Im NOT condoneing it,drugs are wrong, im just saying) At least you know what your in for. All these comments start with " I dont smoke weed" or some such crap. If you wanna get stoned then try POT. Another problem is these unnatural lab produced poisons getting in your lungs and bloodstream. Why dont you just put a gun to your head and get it over with??

From Post: Father of teen found dead at Peruvian ayahuasca retreat seeking US autopsy and potential legal action against shaman
Its obvious that Mancoluto has different beliefs, including those regarding his identity, than you may render "normal" from your Western/developed country/modern scientific/exclusive perspective. Though a son's death is one of the most painful experiences an individual can endure, you should take a step back and not draw criticism of Mancoluto's cultural beliefs into your argument. The ayahuasca experience and shamanism in Peru are completely legitimate endeavors for an individual to explore and open themselves up to. IF Mancoluto promised physical safety and took this responsibility upon himself, then you have grounds to criticize Mancoluto's approach and the accountability of the stockbroker who enabled his unsupervised operations, but you do not have grounds to hold prejudice against his religious beliefs in and of themselves. Cultural respect has to be retained through your argument, as frustratingly painful as the experience may be.

Getting back to Eugene: I took you up on suggestion and read "proof of heaven" just read the nde chapters actually. Firstly, it was fun to read and really made me feel good. So thanks! I don't think there was anything like "proof" in it though, but that's OK. I did a bit of background Googling and discovered a bit of controversy with some folks claiming his coma was not really so deep. I'm not too interested in that bone of. contention. thing I have to report is a really good feeling of openness and connection to what since I was a little little boy I've felt to be guardian angels or something helping me along. Again, I have no proof, but the feeling is so profound and alive, its not something I'd want to turn away from. (Although
I usually do forget about it) if you really like that kind of
thing, I'd suggest Robert Monroe's far journeys and ultimate journey. I loved those books when they came out. Also Olaf stapletons starmaker for a fictional sci fi version of a big gosmology.

Hey Davey, thanks so much for the book information. I'm glad you enjoyed the show. That's something I have also been thinking about and researching, but looks like there is a book out on it already, I'll have to get myself a copy. Thanks for the recommendation, if I get to it soon enough I'll let you know my thoughts, thanks again.

I just made an incredibly magnanimous 5 bones a month contribution to dosenation. This needs to be anonymous. I'm guessing paypal provides you some info on me. I've heard you thank people on the show recently. Please don't name me. This is important. I could have some difficulties in my work life should the wrong dip-shits discover my support of a site that openly discusses psychedelics at times. I'll just stick with my neum-de-byte: Davey! You know, your not paranoid if they really are out to get you;)
Thanks for everything. I appreciate the intelligent discussions.

a pretty interesting discussion. Makes me want to know more about hermes trismegistus and where this tradition came from and what social structures it subsequently informed or influenced. I'll be looking into this a bit at least. Thanks.

Jake, maybe you'd be interested in a recently published book entitled: "The Holy Trinity and the Law of Three: Discovering the Radical Truth at the Heart of Christianity" [Cynthia Bourgeault] I am just getting into this book myself. It posits the trinity as a fundamental cosmo-ontological principle of organization in reality. As a jack-catholic I really appreciate the way she salvages the one aspect of the church that has really gotten under my skin. BTW, Henry Stapp's model of quantum consciousness is built on a triune (three aspects) organization in reality. Like Hannibal always said to his A-Team: I love it when a plan comes together. Eh... I guess that doesn't quite work here, but...
