Allegro Non Troppo by Bruno Bozzetto

This 1977 Italian animated musical film was a parody, or perhaps a response to Disney's Fantasia with darker and deeper themes having to do with the dangers of Western industrial society. The clip here is the last part of a sequence set to Ravel's Bolero which is a great piece of music in its own right:

A great video, but I didn't feel it suits the mood of this music that much, especially in the beginning. For me "Bolero" sounds very warm, sensual and colorful (I'd actually love to hear it on a trip, but so far I remain a member of the strange species of theorists...) and the video was indeed rather dark - but mostly in terms of colors...
