according to the director's bio: "His nonfiction comic short A Stoner's Life premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to play top festivals around the world, including SXSW, Sydney and Edinburgh. It was a 2001 nominee for the International Documentary Association's Best Documentary Short award. It has since been a regular feature on the Sundance Channel."
