Police shoot another dog for pot bust

Do you know what would happen if you injured or killed an officer's dog? You would be charged with assault of a police officer or even murder if the dog died.

Yeah that's terribly unfair. It's also unfair to keep a dog at a high-risk grow op that could get broken into by people who want to steal your pot, and get attacked by that dog. I wouldn't kick my dog out of my house just because I had a few plants but I think if you're keeping a dog around the kind of operation that isn't even really safe for you, you're almost as bad.
Still I probably love dogs more than I love weed, I'm just saying that we can be better than these police by not keeping animals around just to make ourselves feel safer. That's not a problem for anyone with a personal stash because, who would choose between slaying or getting bitten by a dog - and killed by you - for a stash like that?

Why is this labeled like these people were medical marijuana patients? This story just didn't seem like these people were growing for medical purposes so who cares if this was in Michigan or in Texas; they weren't "scheduled" plants. I mean one guy had crack on him. Thats to bad about the dog though.
