Sometimes fire needs to be fought with fire to get what is right. The profits would definitely help and it would lower costs as well. And at what cost, people using a passive harmless "drug"

It wont solve the crisis but it would sure help it, allowing for more leniency in other aspects of "bud"geting. :P

This is very misleading IMHO. It's not like the choose to cut health insurance because they want to make life harder for people, and they didn't choose to cut health insurance out of spite for legalization. Furthermore, legalization wouldn't be the answer to the budget crisis.

Fact of the matter is the health/welfare/education is the majority of California's general budget. Taxes as they are aren't enough to pay for these services. The state overspent and is now cutting back.

Pot prohibitionists don't hate children necessarily. This is like propaganda fighting propaganda...
